Open Question: Cost of travelling SE Asia for 1.5 months?

I am planning to travel from South Korea to Thailand and then on to Laos, Cambodia and possibly Vietnam in around a months time for about 1 and a half/2 months. I was planning on taking around £2000 (roughly $3200 US). About £500 of that will be on a cash/debit card. Will this be feasible? Will I encounter problems trying to stay in hotels/hostels trying to pay with cash? I don't plan on partying every night of the week so the money will mainly be for traveling food and accommodation.
